郭春兴,德英文汉写书法创始人;国学易经和艺术创新客座教授;是《人民日报》“袭古创今”栏目(国家一类新闻网站)重点推出的“守正创新”当代艺术大家,“并被评为能进入近代书法史的20名大家之一”。该栏目先后以“继承传统,推陈出新”、“文化交融互通,艺术美美与共”、“为时代书写,为自己代言”、“意料之中是才情 ,出乎意料是内蕴”等多次采访和视频报道。

艺术成就:

      近几年先后被国家有关部门授予:中国文化艺术国际传播大使;中国品牌艺术代表人物;国家传统文化代言人;中国当代德艺双馨艺术家;中国国宾礼艺术家等称号。

      2023 年被清华大学艺术学院聘为客座教授;2024 年先后被 CCTV“非遗中国说”和“翰墨写人生”栏目采访报道。近期中央电视台《中国文化推介》栏目向22个阿拉伯国家用当地语言推广介绍他独创的德英文汉写书法。其作品被收入《世界艺术通史》。被沈阳市政府先后授予:“优秀创业导师”“优秀退役军人”“最美沈阳人”等称号。

艺术人生:

      笔名“草根堂主”,“开心堂主”1962 年出生于山东招远。79 年从家乡考入军校,原空军某部上校政委,服役 26 年后自主择业。创办“草根堂文化工作室”。以弘扬国学易经智慧、传播德英文汉写书法为业。疫情期间又创办“沈阳奉天开心堂”,本着“心灵洗澡堂,生命返修场”宗旨,让许多人走出健康误区。

      2008 年加入中华经典传播交流委员会国学咏诵团队,主攻易经及内丹太极养生文化十多年。2017 年作为主创人员之一,和团队一起把感悟易经《智慧之光》咏诵晚会搬上舞台,除在中央电视台 4 频道播放外,还被“学习强国”收录。据他为晚会作词的《太极》歌曲,沈阳市工会编成《太极神韵》工间操,在全市推广。并被第八届第九届齐云山张三丰太极养生大会选用,在全国太极拳爱好者中推广。

      他作为东北大学、辽宁大学、大多伦多中医学院等易经国学和内丹修炼客座教授。近十多年来在国内外为大学、机关、部队和企事业单位讲授《揭秘神奇易经,启迪智慧人生》和《生命修复原理和实证课程》等近百场,风趣幽默,弘扬正能量,受到广泛好评。曾被有关机构授予《中国当代易学名人》。他感悟的六十四卦诗词书法被《世界名人大典》收录。他创作的《戏说八卦》小品在海南祭奠三清道祖大典晚会演出受到十四个国家观众好评。创作的由郭冬临主演的小品《电梯内外》在辽宁卫视、北京卫视春晚相继播出。

      作为德英文汉写书法创始人,他连续三年受中国驻德国杜塞尔多夫总领事馆邀请去当地参加中国节,其独创的“德英文汉写书法”在中国节上成了一个颇受外国朋友“既能看懂又非常喜欢”的艺术品牌。到目前为止有近千幅作品被外国总统、要员、领事馆及贵宾和友人收藏。中国节期间他把抄录的 20多米长的《金刚经》和《道德经》书法小楷长卷分别赠送给主办城市杜塞尔多夫和科隆市政府收藏。  

      2022 年 9 月由窦邃先生采访撰写的《让中国书法和经典文化走向海外的摆渡人--外文汉写书法家郭春兴》(上下)被省市国家有关官方媒体相继转发,此文还被列为“中国艺术家海外展播工程”,相继被美国、德国、英国多家媒体报道,同时被《欧华新移民文学》全文转发。

      2024 年 6 月,受中宣部国家文化发展国际战略研究院邀请,赴保加利亚参加第五届中国--中东欧国家文化创意产业论坛。先后在保加利亚国家与世界经济大学和索非亚中国文化中心举办了两场书法展,经保加利亚国家电视台采访报道后,他的德英文汉写和保加利亚文汉写书法在当地引起轰动。许多作品被大学图书馆和校领导及当地名人收藏。

      期间他受邀为中国驻保加利亚大使馆设计的大型中国文化讲座,保文汉写“何以中国”的 LOGO正式启用。同时为索菲亚中国文化中心设计的“中国角”LOGO,都充满中国文化内涵,均受到广泛好评。

      由他英文汉写、赵彦春教授翻译的《英韵双语千字文、弟子规、三字经》巨著近期被新加坡环球出版社出版,这也是中国书法史上的一个创举。以前《千字文》有五种书体,他的英文汉写独创了第六种书体。这也是他被高票评选进入近代书法史20名人物之一的充分理由。目前正在商谈如何在国内外发行。其中《英韵汉写双语千字文》15 米的书法长卷原作被深圳林先生 1280 万收藏捐赠。

      现任国际道文化协会副主席、兼张三丰文化研究院院长;原辽宁省张三丰历史文化研究会会长。今后计划把“张三丰隐仙派(文始派、龙隐派)内丹养生文化”和《如何让中国书画艺术走向世界》重点推向国内外,让更多的有缘人受益。郭春兴老师在艺术上追求的目标就是想把“诗书画和英文汉写书法四绝融为一体,不断推向世界。不争第一,只做唯一”。

几千年来,汉字书写艺术在中华文明传承发展过程中发挥了无可替代的作用。人们在欣赏出神入化、流派纷呈书法艺术的同时,自然而然地把作品中所蕴含的民族情感、道德良知和精神气韵融化到遗传基因之中了。

Thousands of years has witnessed the calligraphic art of Chinese characters playing an irreplaceable role in the inheritance and development of Chinese civilization. The national emotion, moral conscience and spiritual charm con- tained in these works naturally melt into people’s genes while this superb calligraphic art of diverse genres is appreciated.

新世纪以来,我国的文化影响在世界范围内不断增强,特别是在倡导构建人类命运共同体的精神感召下,各国民众对了解中华文化的愿望越来越强烈,我国文化艺术工作者迎来了为人类精神文明发展贡献聪明才智的大好机遇。在中华文化海外传播的利好态势下,书法艺术如何走出去似乎还是一个没有破解的难题。

China’s cultural influence has been gaining impetus worldwide since the beginning of the new century, especially under General Secretary Xi Jinping’s advocacy of building a community of shared future for mankind. For people from different countries, the desire to know the Chinese culture is becoming increasingly strong, hence great opportunities for Chinese cultural and art workers to contribute their wisdom to the development of human spiritual civilization. However, for all the favorable condition of spreading Chinese culture overseas, how to spread calligraphic art overseas remains a problem unsolved.

英文汉写书法创始人郭春兴多年探索将英语单词嵌入书法作品之中,匠心独运架构新体书法,在对外文化交流中受到了海外友人的普遍欢迎。

Guo Chunxing, the founder of English Written in Chinese Calligraphy, has been exploring for many years to embed English words into Chinese calligraphy. He shows his own ingenuity by constructing new style of calligraphy, which has been widely welcomed by overseas friends during foreign cultural exchanges.

本人曾经将郭春兴创作的英文汉语巧妙组合的一幅“天人合一世界大同”书法作品赠送给了欧洲某国家总理,总理先生非常高兴,他说:自己非常喜欢中国文化,到中国访问时也有人赠送给他一幅书法作品,但苦于看不懂作品的内容,所以一直不敢展示给人看。这幅作品他看懂了是老子的哲学思想,因此特别喜爱。

I once presented one of Guo Chunxing’s calligraphic works,“Unity of Man andNature, We Are One”, an ingenious combination of English and Chinese, to the Prime Minister of a European country. He was very pleased, mentioning that he loved Chinese culture very much and was once given a piece of calligraphic work during a visit to China, but he had never shown it to others for the difficulty of understanding the content. However, he could read the philosophy of Laocius through this piece of work, so he loved it in particular.

郭春兴多次随团到欧洲访问,并在德国举办过书法作品展,当地各界人士通过欣赏郭春兴的中文德文和中英文书法作品,不但看懂了书法内容,还感悟到了中华民族璀璨的文化思想内涵,他们为此而欣慰。有些外国朋友和华人收藏家想要买下郭春兴的作品,郭春兴婉言谢绝,他说:“我们是来开展文化交流的,您要是喜欢中国文化,我可以把作品赠送给您,但不能卖。”几年来,郭春兴赠送给国际友人和相关机构的作品近百幅,仅装裱费就花了几万元。

Guo Chunxing has visited Europe with the delegations several times and held some exhibitions of calligraphic works in Germany. Local people there from all walks of life were very amazed that they were not only able to understand the content of calligraphy, but also could feel the resplendent cultural and ideological connotation of the Chinese nation by appreciating Guo Chunxing’s works of German and English Written in Chinese Calligraphy. Some foreigners and Chinese collectors wanted to purchase Guo Chunxing’s works, but he declined politely,“I could give it to you as a present if you love Chinese culture, but I won’t sell my works since we are here to promote cultural exchanges. ”In recent years, Guo Chunxing has presented nearly 100 pieces of his art to international friends and relevant organizations, with tens of thousands yuan spent on the mounting alone.

郭春兴探索中国书法与英文、德文词汇混搭的表现形式,不是异想天开追求猎奇,而是出于对中华传统文化和书法艺术的无限热爱。他不但坚持数十年临帖苦练基本功,而且刻苦研读传统经典文献,国学修养和文化底蕴深厚,尤其对《诗经》《易经》《道德经》《阴符经》等学术研究比较深入,经常到高等院校开展学术讲座。

Guo Chunxing’s exploration of the joint expression of English and German words written in the form of Chinese calligraphy is not just a fanciful idea or a pursuit of novelty, but out of his infinite love for Chinese traditional culture and calligraphic art. He has been insisting on practicing basic calligraphic skills for decades and studying the traditional classic literature assiduously. Against a profound cultural background and with a keen study of Chinese ancient civilization, he has especially delved into the classics such as the Book of Songs, the Book of Changes, the Word and the World, the Lunar Amulet, and well--equipped with Chinese Studies, he often gives academic lectures in colleges.

由于学识达到了一定高度,他所创作的书法作品不但形式精美,而且充满正能量,在内容上始终坚持对中华优秀传统文化的精准表达,融入英文、德文等词汇构成一种全新的书法结构,完全是为了面向世界讲好中国故事,弘扬中华文明,展示中国文化的崇高境界。

As his attainment has reached a certain level, the calligraphic works he created are not only exquisite in form, but also full of positive energy. He has always been insisting on the precise expression of Chinese excellent traditional culture, integrating English, German and other languages into a new calligraphic structure, and this endeavor is completely targeted at telling Chinese stories to the world to promote Chinese civiliza- tion and display the lofty state of the Chinese culture.

原中国书协副主席聂成文先生称赞郭春兴的英文汉写书法是“别具一格,能观能品,如画如歌。”辽宁省文联副主席、书法家协会主席胡崇炜评价郭春兴的作品是“中西合璧,独树一帜。”许多新闻媒体高度评价郭春兴创新书法艺术表达形式,为中国书法走向世界所做的有益尝试和贡献。

Nie Chengwen, former Vice Chairman of Chinese Calligraphers Association, praised Guo Chunxing’s English Written in Chinese Calligraphy as“unique and distinctive, observable and appreciable, like paintings, like songs. ”Hu Chongwei, Vice Chairman of Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Liaoning Province, and Chairman of Chinese Calligraphers Association, commented on Guo Chunxing’s works as“a peculiar combination of Chinese and Western. ”Many news media also spoke highly of Guo Chunxing’s innovative expression of calligraphic art and his beneficial attempt and contribution to the spread of Chinese calligraphy.

郭春兴在对传统书法艺术书写方式的突破与改良,仅仅局限于对外文化交流中所进行的一种尝试,不代表书法艺术传承与创新方向,或者说青少年在学习书法创作时不适合简单效仿。但是,从郭春兴的创作实践看,似乎应该引发书界对当下书法艺术如何实现创造性转化、创新性发展的一些思考。

However, Guo Chunxing’s breakthrough and improvement in the traditional cal- ligraphic art is only an attempt to promote foreign cultural exchange, not the inheriting and innovating direction of calligraphic art, that is to say, it is not suitable for teenagers to simply imitate while learning calligraphy. However, viewing from his creative prac- tices, it seems how to achieve creative transformation and innovative development of calligraphic art should be considered.

一是书法艺术创作如何走出单纯追求形式感的误区,坚持形式与内容的完美结合。当下喜爱和学习书法的群体十分庞大、庞杂,书法界比任何艺术门类都人多势众,可谓是 ; 名家到处有,大师满街走。

Firstly, in calligraphic creation, it should be considered how to get out of the trap of a simple pursuit for form and insist on the perfect combination of form and content. Atpresent, the calligraphic community is so diverse, with an overwhelmingly largest crowd of lovers and learners in the calligraphic circle than in any other circle of art, hence the phenomenon:“Calligraphers speak loud and masters make a crowd”.

但是,就书法创作、创新而言, 注重模仿、忽视创新, 偏重形式,无论内容,追求技法精湛、轻视思想传播的倾向比较普遍。倘若千百万人不厌其烦的共同书写“天道酬勤”“厚德载物”“宁静致远”和妇孺皆知的几十首唐诗宋词,最多会造就大批写字匠,产生不了新时代的书法大师。

However, for calligraphic creation and innovation, it is a common trend to focus on imitation but neglect innovation, pay more attention to forming but disregard content, pursue exquisite techniques, neglect ideological dissemination. If millions of people repeatedly and tirelessly write“Heaven Rewards Diligence”,“Great Virtue Carries All Things”,“Altitude in Solitude”and dozens of Tang poems and Song lyrics, which are well-known to the ordinary. In this case, a large number of calligraphic artisans instead of calligraphic masters ofthe new era will be produced at most .

历史上出现过的那些书法名家,每一位都是学识渊博的思想家、文学家和社会名流,他们的传世之作都把作品内容放在首位,因此才成为思想性、艺术性俱佳的经典作品流传于世。郭春兴的作品能够受到许多国际友人的欢迎和喜爱,不完全在于他作品的书写水准,更重要的是他作品中所传播的优秀中华文化思想内涵的无限魅力。形式服从于内容的法则在书法艺术创作中永远是硬道理。

Those famous calligraphic masters in history are all knowledgeable thinkers, litterateurs and social celebrities. They all put content first in their masterpieces, so these classic works with good ideology and artistic quality were passed down from generation to generation. The reason why Guo Chunxing’s works are welcomed and loved bymany international friends is not just because of his skilled calligraphic level, more importantly, the infinite charm of the excellent Chinese culture and ideological conno- tation is imbued in his works. The rule that form should obey the content is always the absolute principle in the creation of calligraphic art.

二是书法艺术如何坚持以人民为中心的创作导向,避免陷入到技法高难的怪圈不可自拔。书法创作当然要讲究书写技巧,但不能走向唯技巧论。过度追求对书体、笔道、符号式表达等传统书写技巧的模仿,让大多数人看不懂肯定会影响作品的传播广度。

Secondly, in calligraphic art, it should be considered how to adhere to the people-cen- tered creating orientation and avoid being stuck in the weird circle of pursuing difficult calligraphic skills. Of course, calligraphic creation should pay attention to skills, not moving towards the skill-oriented theory. Excessive pursuit of the imitation of tradi- tional calligraphic techniques such as chirography, strokes, and symbolic expressions that confuse most people will definitely affect the spread of the calligraphic works.

前几年网络上疯传关于书法的段子:“逮住蛤蟆攥出尿来”(前途似锦继往开来)和“妇女之宝”(宾至如归)不能只当笑话看,任何艺术作品都是在传播中体现价值,即便书写者是饱学之士,可以模仿甲骨文或金文大篆,前提是要让今天的观赏者能够接受,人民大众看不懂的东西不论水平多高,都属于小众文化,达不到“叫得响、传得开、留得下”精品标准。

A few years ago, there were jokes about calligraphy spreading like mad on the internet: “Catch a toad to make a piss”(implying“A bright future to forge ahead”) and “Treasure of women”(Actually it is“Making guests feel at home”). We can’t just regard them jokes, as the value of any of art works is realized in its transmission. Even if the calligrapher is a learned person and able to imitate oracle bone inscriptions orancient bronze inscriptions, viewers’response is a necessary precondition. Therefore, no matter how high the level is, if the public can’t understand it, it will be a kind of minor culture and fail to meet the standard of masterpieces, which is“good reputation, wide spreading, and worth handing down”.

郭春兴探索用汉字与英文、德文相融合创作的另类书法,出发点和落脚点都是希望让那些不懂中文的外国人能够看懂和喜欢中国书法艺术,他的追求和尝试具有一定意义。本人看过郭春兴中规中矩抄写的《道德经》《金刚经》和《张三丰诗词》等长卷,笔墨清奇、谋篇有法、气韵不凡, 体现出书法艺术的整体美。能够让接受者乃至普通百姓感到赏心悦目才是书法创作的正道。

The purpose that Guo Chunxing explores the special calligraphy of English and German words written in the form of Chinese characters is to provide foreigners who do not understand Chinese with an opportunity to read and love Chinese calligraphic art. His pursuit and attempt are of certain significance. I have seen Guo Chunxing’s conventional long-scroll transcriptions such as The Word and the World, Diamond Sutra and Zhang Sanfeng’s Poems, clear in writing, skillful in layout and extraordinary in charm, reflecting the overall beauty of calligraphic art. It is the right way for cal- ligraphic creation to gladden the hearts and please the eyes of receivers, even common folks.

三是如何坚持为人民奉献精品,摆脱书法创作的唯市场论。市场经济条件下,写字卖钱无可厚非。但是,以每平尺卖多少钱论英雄却是书界出现的一种不良倾向。无论是什么级别的著名书法家,还是自封的大师,作品卖了多少钱并不重要,重要的是有没有代表作?有没有传世之作?

Thirdly, it should be considered how to insist on offering excellent works to the people and get rid of the market-oriented thought in calligraphic creation. Under the condi-tion of market economy, there’s nothing wrong to make money with calligraphy. However, it is a bad tendency in the calligraphy circle to judge how successful a person is by how much his work is sold per square chi (1 square meter = 9 square chi). For calligraphers at all levels and those self-claimed masters, it doesn’t matter at what price their works are sold, what matters is whether they have representative works or mas- terpieces to pass on to posterity.

如果整个书法界长时期奉献不出无愧于伟大时代、伟大民族的经典作品,评出来多少奖、参加过什么展、作品卖了多少钱都是过眼烟云。郭春兴不计得失,把潜心创作、精美装裱、包括若干长卷在内的近百幅作品无偿赠送他人的做法不值得赞赏。但是,书法家要讲情怀、讲格调、讲品位,不得唯利是图的品行应该提倡。为人民书写、争做人民书法家应该成为新时代书法家的共同追求。

If the whole calligraphy circle fails to dedicate classic works matching the great era and the great nation for a long time, it will be just as transient as passing clouds no matter how many awards a calligrapher wins, on what exhibitions the works are put, and at what price the works are sold. I will not praise Guo Chunxing for his selfless act: he, regardless of gain or loss, has presented others with nearly 100 pieces of works, well framed and well mounted, including several long scrolls. However, his non-mercenary conducts should be advocated, since calligraphers should strive for passion, style and taste. Writing for the people and striving to be a calligrapher of the people should be the common pursuit of calligraphers in the new era.

郭春兴与著名翻译家赵彦春教授联手出版《三字经》《千字文》《弟子规》英文与书法合璧文集,是一个颇有价值的创意,此举可喜可贺!赵彦春先生学养深厚,精通文韵,他用以诗译诗、以经易经的方式翻译过诸多传统文化典籍,得到了中外学者的高度认可和赞誉。他所翻译的我国历代对少年儿童进行开蒙教育必读的三部作品用英文单词对应汉语词义,不但保留了传统典籍的思想精华,而且具有音韵之美。

A collection combining calligraphy and English, Three Word Primer, One thousand Word in English Rhyme, and Canons for Disciples in English Rhyme, is to be jointly published by Guo Chunxing and Professor Zhao Yanchun, a renowned translator of Chinese classics. What a valuable and creative idea, and what a gratifying move! Mr. Zhao Yanchun is an erudite scholar, especially proficient in prosody and rhetoric. He has translated many classics by means of translating poesie into poesie, highly recognized and acclaimed by Chinese and foreign scholars. The three pieces of works that he translated were required readings of enlightenment education for children and teenagers in China in the past dynasties. The translations are unique, with English words corre- sponding to the same number of Chinese characters, retaining both the essence of Chinese classics and the beauty of rhyme.

郭春兴煞费苦心将赵彦春先生的译文配上了书法,无疑为这套译作增添了光彩。不难预料,这套文集一定会受到国内外青少年的喜爱。我国青少年能够在接受优秀传统文化的同时欣赏书法和学习英语,可谓一举多得。国外一些热爱中国文化的青少年,能够通过这套文集进一步了解中国文学和欣赏中国书法艺术,也是一大幸事。选择流传广泛、通俗易懂的《三字经》《千字文》《弟子规》三种少年儿童易于理解,包含了中华文化中的文学、历史、哲学、人伦礼仪、生动故事等传统古典文本进行再创作,是一种大智慧,特别对于面向世界传播中国文化具有不可小觑的意义。

Guo Chunxing has taken great efforts to match Mr. Zhao Yanchun’s translation with calligraphy, undoubtedly adding luster to this collection. It is not hard to predict that this collection will be popular among teenagers at home and abroad. It’s so fortunate for teenagers in China to enjoy calligraphy and learn English at the same time while learning excellent traditional culture, also a great blessing for some foreign teenagers

who love Chinese culture to learn more about Chinese literature and appreciate Chinese calligraphic art through this collection. It requires a great wisdom to choose these three Chinese classics for recreation, Three Word Primer, One thousand Word in English Rhyme, Canons for Disciples in English Rhyme, which are popular and easy for young children to understand, including literature, history, philosophy, human rela- tions, etiquette, and vivid stories of Chinese culture. It is of great significance especially to the spreading of Chinese culture to the world.

我国对外传播中华文化起步较早,收益较少。对照西方少数国家刻意对我国所进行的文化渗透,采用音乐、美术、戏剧影视作品潜移默化让我们的青少年接受他们价值观的做法,不难看出我们在对外文化传播方面存在的差距。究其原因,是我国部分学者不了解西方文化属性,脱离实际片面追求高大上,特别是某些食古不化的专家学者,为了显示自己的学术造诣,选择一些连中国大学生都很难理解的所谓经典,去国外开展讲座,对洋人进行高台教化,效果可想而知是事倍功半。

China’s transmission of Chinese culture started earlier, but with less revenue. Compared with Western countries’cultural penetration through music, art, drama, film and television for our teenagers to accept their values subtly, it is easy to see the gap between. The reason lies in that some scholars in our country do not understand the nature of Western culture. They are unrealistic and pursue eye-candies superficially, furthermore, some pedantic experts and scholars choose some so-called classics, which are difficult to understand even by Chinese college students, to carry out lectures abroad, and to confuse foreigners in order to show their academic attainments. It can be imagined that the result is none but twice the efforts, half the effects.

这套英文与书法合璧的《三字经》《千字文》《弟子规》文集的出版发行,突破了我们对外进行文化传播的瓶颈,如果能够列入国家优秀文化传承发展计划之中,能够得到文化和教育主管部门以及驻外机构的大力支持,一定会促进中华优秀文化的有效传承,一定会促进开创中华文化海外传播的新格局。

The publication of this collection combining English and calligraphy, Three Word Primer, One thousand Word in English Rhyme, Canons for Disciples in English Rhyme, has broken through the bottleneck of our external cultural communication. If this collection is included into the Development Plan of National Excellent Cultural Heritage, and could receive strong supports from the departments in charge of culture and education, and institutions abroad, the effective heritage of Chinese excellent culture will certainly be promoted, hence a new pattern to spread Chinese culture overseas can be expected.
